DLL and COVID-19

Season Suspended until 4/13

UpdatedSunday March 15, 2020 byDLL Registrar.

Update on the steps Davis Little League is taking concerning COVID19.

On Friday, March 13th, DJUSD announced that schools will be closed through April 12, 2020 to prevent the spread of the COVID19 virus.  This decision means that we as a board have decided to suspend our season. We believe that the DJUSD is the best organization to mirror when it comes to our players’ health. As it is local, responsible, and works closely with the Yolo County Public Health Department on the most appropriate methods to prevent the spread of this virus.

All games and practices are cancelled until further notice. At this time we don’t have a clear idea about the remainder of the season. As always, our mission is to have kids play as much baseball as they can. This is why we only suspended the season, and didn't cancel it. We are hopeful that we are soon able to play and practice again. There are many unknowns and we will be deliberate when deciding how to run the rest of the season.

We would encourage your feedback and to hear from you. Please email you comments or concerns to board@davislittleleague.org

Thank you for continued support of Davis Little League and our players,
